A & J’s Ice Cream Shoppe began as a passion project for a lovely couple in Central Trinidad, who started their entrepreneurship journey by creating unique local ice cream flavours. Their dedication to quality and their love for their community quickly earned them a loyal customer base.

With a desire to elevate their brand, they turned to EXECUCOMM to help them create a brand identity that would resonate with their values and vision. Their goal was to communicate the exceptional taste and joyful experience their ice cream offers through a cohesive and inviting brand identity.

We developed a brand mark that is both simple and memorable, combining the letters A & J in a way that reflects the couple’s identity and business ethos. The color palette of red, pink, beige, and white was chosen to evoke feelings of warmth, joy, and sweetness. This thoughtful combination creates a visual identity that stands out and communicates the high quality of their products.

A Tagline from the Heart

During a delightful taste test, our Managing Director, Thokozile, exclaimed, “Oh soooo good!” This spontaneous reaction became the inspiration for A & J’s tagline, “Sweet, Simple, Oh Soooo Good.” 

The emphasis on “soooo” highlights the exceptional taste and quality of their ice cream, while the overall simplicity of the tagline aligns with the brand’s friendly and approachable identity.
